Lifehouse Spa & Hotel

The Lifehouse Spa & Hotel is a contemporary spa set in English Heritage-Listed Thorpe Hall Gardens close to the pretty Essex town of Frinton-on-Sea. The spa has a large, dramatic pool area with grey, almost industrial, pillars, and huge twisted ropes decorating the walls. If you’re looking for cocooning quiet, try The Hidden Sanctuary for a more private experience. As well as traditional spa treatments, Lifehouse offers health and wellbeing consultations from resident specialists including fitness, life coaching, nutrition, weight loss and holistic therapies.

Dining

The 2AA Rosette Restaurant at Lifehouse is set within the historic Thorpe Hall Gardens, serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. Lunch and dinner menus are Italian‑Mediterranean inspired, crafted using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. The relaxed dining space is ideal for couples, friends, and solo diners. Vegetarian, vegan, and special dietary menus are available with advance notice (Excluding afternoon tea)

Accommodation

All rooms feature Juliet balconies with full‑height windows and views across the gardens or surrounding landscape. Each room includes a stylish en‑suite with walk‑in shower and luxury toiletries, minimum 43" LCD TV, tea and coffee facilities, complimentary Wi‑Fi, and has a minimum size of 18 sqm. Room categories include Contemporary, Garden, Signature, and Signature Garden.
As part of our sustainability actions, please bring a refillable water bottle; water stations are available throughout the building.

Travel & Parking

Complimentary on‑site parking is available, with EV chargers (additional charge). Thorpe‑le‑Soken station (TLS) offers a direct link to London Liverpool Street. Pick‑up and drop‑off service available for a small fee (pre‑booking required).

Accessibility

Designated Blue Badge parking is available at the reception entrance. All interior areas have level access, with lifts to all floors (pools excluded).
